The Lexington is one of twelve Constitution class starships commissioned by Starfleet to push the frontier of explored space allong with it's sister ships U.S.S. Constellation NCC-1017, U.S.S. Republic NCC-1371, U.S.S. Intrepid NCC-1631, U.S.S. Exeter NCC-1672, U.S.S. Excalibur NCC-1664, U.S.S. Potemkin NCC-1657, U.S.S. Constitution NCC-1700, U.S.S. Enterprise NCC-1701, U.S.S. Hood NCC-1703, U.S.S. Yorktown NCC-1701 and U.S.S. Defiant NCC-1764. The Lexington depiced in Star Trek Adventures has been refitted after the M-5 computer test, with improved power systems, defence capabilites, expanded labopratory facilities and a rugged design, for a range of missions.

While only little is known about the crew, we know a few things:

Commodore Robert Wesley commanded the starship while the "War Game"
Lieutenant Watley, an ancestor of Julian Bashir had to be on that ship.

Captain Caryl Moore, the human commander of the starship.
Cmdr Waldemar Reiter, first officer and helm of the ship.
Lt. Cmdr. Tyrhol Vaoret, the andorian chief engineer aboard.
Lt. Cmdr. Kamal Jitan, human chief medical officer.
Lt. T'Pren, a vulcan sciencen officer.
