1^st Five Year-Mission edit edit source

The first five-year mission of the Artus is 2258 until 2263. The crew consists 2258 of:

Captain Tofu, commanding officer of the starship and mostr important decision-maker.
Commander Asta, number one or first officer after Captain Tofu.
Lieutenant Commander Emex Girwinde, second officer and chief engineering officer (SCE).
Lieutenant Selia, third officer and chief science officer (SCS).

The U.S.S. Artus flies out of the Utopia Planetia Fleet Yards Drydock Utopia-Planitia-1 on 7^th September 2258 and Commander Asta is beamed aboard.

At stardate 2258,250 (9^th September 2258) Commander Asta and Lt.Cmdr. Emex Girwinde fly the shuttle Camelot to a azure-colored nebula of unknown composition after a mission on the planet Slurg. After giving naming the nebula Pl-0T-nebula and transmitting a Subspacesignal to the Artus they enter the nebula. ^[2]

The U.S.S. Artus has a mudular build-up like the U.S.S. Enterprise NCC-1701. But many aspects diferenciate the Artus from the famous multi-role-explorer, like newer and more improved warp nacelles, a different bridge and the slight different corridors. And the biggest different is the newly built-in cloaking device ST-0-RY.

The Bridge has a much more comfortable Captain's Chair, a Galaxy class seeming security section right behind the Captain's Chair and two seperate conn station (in front). The idea behind this is the securing of the personal and the ship's systems bacause normally there is only one conn station in a starship's bridge. Additionally there are two science stations and engineering stations not only for the experimental cloaking device but also for the new in the saucer section integrated warp nacelles. They have to be monitored much more exactly as the older Constitution class.

Die Korridore haben zwar die standard Raumhöhe, jedoch sind in regelmäßigen Abständen die Gänge visuell mit roten Gittern abgetrennt. Jedoch ist hier die neueste experimentelle Technik der großflächigen Energiefeldabtrennung von Korridoren verbaut, die bei Bedarf aktiviert werden können. Weiters ist kurz unter der Decke auf jeder Wand mindestens ein Bildschirm angebracht. Dies dient zu genaueren Briefings im Ernstfall und zur schnellen Anzeige von gelbem Alarm, rotem Alarm oder schwarzem Alarm.
