The Captain is the highest officer rank aboard a spaceship. Above him is the [[Commodore]], and the [[Commander]] is subordinate to him.<ref>see the [[Hierarchy of Starfleet]]</ref> [[Tofu]] is also a Captain.

The [[Commodore]] can also command a ship not specifically assigned to him if its Captain is unavailable or deceased.
